Geroma M. “Gerry” Davide, of Manheim, and formerly of Port Chester, N.Y., died Sunday, Nov. 9. She was 91. Davide was born in Port Chester, N.Y., to Antonio and Domenica Sena Gioffre. Retired in 1993, she worked as a secretary at the former United Hospital, Port Chester, N.Y. Previously, she worked at Homelite, a division of Textron, in Port Chester, N.Y., as an executive secretary for 20 years.

Rye Y’s Togetherhood Committee Collects Seasonal Clothing For Coat Drive

The Rye YMCA’s Togetherhood Committee is currently collecting new and gently used fall/winter clothing for babies, children and teens up to age 17. The clothing, which may be dropped off in the Rye Y’s lobby through Wednesday, Nov. 12, will be delivered to The Sharing Shelf, a Port Chester based program of Family Services of Westchester. On Saturday, Nov. 22, Togetherhood volunteers will spend the morning at The Sharing Shelf sorting, organizing and packaging clothing that will be distributed free of charge to local families in need.

The Complete Last Waltz Webcast & Artist Additions

Phil Lesh Teams With Robinson, Krasno, Russo & More At The Cap

Last night marked the first of two shows from an interesting Phil Lesh & Friends lineup at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. Lesh teamed with Chris Robinson, guitarists Eric Krasno and Neal Casal, drummer Joe Russo and keyboardist Adam MacDougall for the third shows of the Grateful Dead bassist’s 10-show residency at the historic venue.

Port Chester Rail Riders–Metro-North Plans Schedule Changes Starting Sunday

It’s time to plan ahead if you’re a Metro-North Railroad rider – regardless of the line you use, there are plenty of changes. The railroad is implementing new timetables, effective Sunday, Nov. 9 – changes the railroad said has “schedule adjustments that improve reliability and, on the New Haven Line, increase the frequency of service.”
