Rye House Port Chester, an American craft bistro and bar concept from Manhattan, opened its doors to the public early January 2015 at 126 North Main Street in Port Chester, N.Y. In this new venture, Rye House owners and restaurateurs Michael Jannetta and Robert Lombardi , have joined with a third partner and local Westchester resident, Dan Forrester, who is involved in commercial and residential real estate, to bring the popular bistro and bar to Westchester residents. Anne Tartaglia Fiore, 94, Of Port Chester

Born Dec. 2, 1920, in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Michelina Amendola Tartaglia. Survivors include one son, Frank Fiore of Tivoli; two daughters, Andra Mollica of Brookfield, Conn., and Michelle Grosse of Port Chester; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Driver Is Accused of Failing to Stop for Greenwich Cops and Driving into Port Chester

A man who Greenwich Police say wouldn’t stop for officers checking out a report of an erratic driver, and then drove across the border into Port Chester, NY is facing a several charges including driving under the influence. It all apparently started about 9 p.m. Jan. 4 when police received a report of motorist driving erratically on West Putnam Avenue, according to a police report.

Emelia ‘Millie’ Mitchell, 83, Of Port Chester

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. Emelia F. Mitchell , 83, wife of the late Thomas Mitchell, died Sunday, Jan. 25. Born Feb. 9, 1931, in County Cavan, Ireland, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1952 with her sister, the late Mary Jane Smith, and eventually settled in Port Chester. She worked as a private nurse’s aide to families in Greenwich, Conn., and Rye.
